The Samajam was established in the year 1960. It is a Registered Body under The Societies Registration Act and The Bombay Public Trust Act. The Samajam is eligible for exemption under Section 80-G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

The Samajam is having 1700 members comprising of Teachers, Professors, School/College Administrators, Professionals from Business, Trade, Banking, Finance, Taxation etc.,

We do offer scholarships for Meritorious students.

We have a Reading Room & Library, which has 3000 books for circulation and lending.

We have a discussion group meeting where some eminent speakers are invited and give a talk on any current subject.

We have an Ayurvedic Dispensary where Free Consultation of eminent Ayurvedic Physicians is available.

We plan yearly get-together with variety of entertainment programmes.  All members are invited to participate in these get together in full strength, so as to make these programmes enjoyable and attractive.

Onam, the national festival of Kerala, is celebrated every year with traditional gaiety and fervor. Annual Sports and Games are also be conducted.

FUTURISTIC ACTIVITIES

In order to make development in the overall sphere of activities of the organization, plans are afoot on the following areas :

Acquisition of Land within Vasai.

Creation of a data-base of Members, Teachers and Students.

Development of basic infrastructures.

Utilization of the school building after the school hours for starting professional courses, crash courses.
